Why Teams Choose Claude Motion Design for Explainer Videos

Because every scene is generated as code rather than filmed, the words, numbers, shapes, and pictures in your explainer can be re-timed or reworded at any moment — nothing is locked in.

  • Scenes Rendered From Code
Your brief becomes a Motion artifact: a coded sequence that moves type, graphs, geometry, and pictures. There is no footage model involved, so you get clean graphic motion rather than photoreal people.
  • Every Project Saves Itself
Work you create lands in the Artifacts tab automatically, sitting beside your other files; Motion is just one template choice available when you begin something new.
  • Edit a Single Word, Nothing Else Shifts
Adjust a figure, a caption, or the pace of one scene and the remaining layout holds its position — the code rewrites only what you touched.

FAQ

Claude Motion Design: Common Questions

Straight answers on plan access, output format, storage, and usage limits for Claude motion design.

1

Which subscription tiers include Claude motion design?

It is currently in beta for Team and Enterprise subscriptions. Team workspaces have it switched on out of the box; Enterprise workspaces stay off until an owner enables it under Organization settings > Artifacts.

2

Will it produce lifelike footage or human characters?

Not at all. No footage engine sits behind the feature; the moving pieces are type, graphs, geometry, and pictures taken from your own files and rendered as code, so photoreal humans never appear.

3

Where are finished animations stored?

Each one is filed in the Artifacts tab as a Motion-template artifact, listed with everything else you have generated there.

4

Does generating one consume my usage allowance?

It does. Like any other request, an animation counts against your plan allowance, and longer or more intricate scenes cost more than a simple text reply.

5

Is there a way to save the result as a video file?

Absolutely. Choose Export, then MP4, and the clip saves to your device in a format that plays or embeds just about anywhere.

6

Who enables the feature, and can access be restricted?

Owners and Primary Owners manage the switch under Organization settings > Artifacts. Enterprise owners can further narrow access to particular groups by assigning custom roles.
