A Different Kind of Animation Engine Behind claudemotion
Every scene claudemotion produces is written as code, which lets captions, graphs, shapes and photos animate together in one continuous take.
- Animations Rendered From CodeBecause claudemotion generates each clip as code, words, numbers, charts and pictures can be choreographed to move in perfect sync.
- Not a Text-to-Video Modelclaudemotion is not powered by a video diffusion engine — you get moving typography, charts, shapes and stills, not photoreal people or live footage.
- Tweak One Element, Leave the RestAdjust a single word, figure or timing beat and the rest of the claudemotion timeline remains exactly where you left it.
Three Steps to an Animated Clip in claudemotion
Describe what you need, pick a motion template, then export — the whole path from idea to MP4.
A Quick Tour of claudemotion Features
From source-grounded prompts to hands-on editor tweaks and org-level permissions, here is how claudemotion fits into everyday team work.
Anchored to Your Source Files
Attach the report, dataset or image set claudemotion should draw from, and specify the audience, target screen and approximate runtime.
Chat-Driven Revisions
Treat chat as your editing panel: ask for a slower second scene or a corrected Q3 number, and claudemotion hands back the updated clip.
Hands-On Editor Control
If you would rather work directly, tweak the animation in the editor instead of explaining the change in a message.
Stored Alongside Your Artifacts
Nothing disappears: completed claudemotion clips live in the Artifacts tab beside your decks, docs and dashboards.
Admin Switches and Role Limits
Find the toggle under Organization settings > Artifacts: enabled by default for Team, disabled for Enterprise, where custom roles can further restrict access.
Metered Against Your Plan
It works like any other metered feature: claudemotion draws on plan usage, and a long or dense animation costs more than a single chat message.
claudemotion Questions, Answered
Short answers about availability, output type, where clips are stored and how to export them.
Which plans come with claudemotion?
It is still in beta: Team workspaces have it enabled by default, while Enterprise owners must turn it on under Organization settings > Artifacts.
Can claudemotion produce lifelike video?
Not at all. Realistic people and live-action footage are out of scope — the tool animates typography, charts, shapes and still images.
Where are finished clips stored?
Each claudemotion animation is saved in the Artifacts tab, where you can reopen and keep refining it.
Can I update just one figure?
Yes — change that single word, number or timing beat and the rest of the claudemotion animation stays untouched.
How do I export or share my clip?
Pick Export, then MP4, to download; new clips are private by default, and Share makes them visible to others.
Do animations use up plan credits?
Yes — claudemotion counts against plan limits, and longer or denser animations use more than a standard message.
Make Your First Clip With claudemotion
Head to chat or the Artifacts tab, select the Motion template and describe what you want to see move. Admins can enable claudemotion in Organization settings > Artifacts.
